The DCOMMAND Difference

We know you have options. We want you to know why you should pick our company over the rest!

Honesty and Integrity are at the top of our list every single day - on every single job.

The Facts & Transparency:

We are a small business, and unfortunately, that means we don't get a lot of "volume discounts" from our manufacturers. The "big guys" out there may be able to sell you an individual piece of equipment for less, but they can't support you the way we can. That's why we focus our business on system design and installation. Our "added value" - and the reason you'll choose us - is our support and expertise. It's important to get your money's worth, and we know that very well. We will never sell you an inadequate solution.  We listen to your needs and wants and design a solution that's specific to your requirements. We have experience working with architects, contractors, "retro-fit" solutions and "from the ground up" solutions. We never charge for our designs, but they are proprietary intellectual documents that are not to be used to solicit any competing quotes. In addition to our expertise and individual attention, we have an unbeatable warranty that covers your system and it's functionality for a full year from the date of installation. (The Standard System Warranty is shown below).  Oh yes, and one last thing... If your system fails for some reason, we have an expansive rental pool of equipment that you have access to free of charge during the first year (while your system is under warranty). So even IF there is a problem, you will usually not "go without" while it's either being repaired or replaced.

To sum it up, we aren't focused on selling single pieces of equipment and leaving you to figure it out. We'd rather provide a turn-key solution allowing you to benefit from the above mentioned points. You also have our 30+ years of A/V experience at your disposal! We also offer preventative maintenance schedules that allow a technician to perform updates, system testing and maintenance throughout the year so that you won't face any downtime.

Things you should know:

Many professional line manufacturers have "MAP" pricing policies. MAP = Minimum Advertised Price.  They require authorized resellers to respect that price and not advertise their products for less than the MAP price. However, there are many (and I mean many) businesses online that may be selling the equipment for way less than what the manufacturer has specified as MAP. These businesses are either A, not authorized to sell that product (oops.. no support or warranty now), or B, blatantly defying the policy which can cause a manufacturer to pull their dealership and refuse to support their sales.  Take caution!!!

If you've found a price that's "too good to be true," BE CAREFUL! For example, we have encountered the following scenario:

-Commercial grade projector is being advertised and sold online for $750.00.

-The MAP set by the manufacturer themselves is $900.00. (You usually find this price listed on their website or in product brochures. MAP differs from Retail or List Price. Retail and List Price are typically based on the actual worth of the item and are considerably higher than MAP prices. MAP pricing is the lowest price the item can be advertised).

-The CATCH:   The company was purchasing a volume of the projector, removing the lamps, cases and other accessories and selling the projector "shell" for  $750.  On the surface, it sounds like a STEAL! But, alas, you get that $750 projector and it's not good for anything but a paperweight because it doesn't even have a lamp. You go back to buy the lamp, case, cables or accessories to find that they are charging FULL price if not MORE than retail price on those items. So, you end up spending more than the projector would have cost even at full retail.
